Our Super Frankie Cheese has won third place in the Grand Final of the II Campeonato de España de Hamburguesas that took place yesterday in A Coruña. Last week we received the news that, thanks to your votes, we were in the final and entered the top 10 best burgers in Spain.
Since our birth in Alcalá de Henares in 2020, and in only 6 months since our landing in Madrid, Frankie Burgers has won the bronze in the Best Burger Spain with our Super Frankie Cheese, haven't you tried it yet?
Best hamburgers in Spain
More than 240 restaurants and hamburger restaurants from all over the country competed from February 1 to 28 in the II Campeonato de España de Hamburguesas. In the first phase of the Championship the jury was the customers themselves, evaluating the quality of the bread, the meat, the cheese and, most importantly, the taste of the proposal as a whole.
Thanks to your votes, Frankie Burgers managed to position itself as one of the 10 best hamburger restaurants in Spain.
Afterwards, the best burgers competed in the Grand Final. An event held at the MEGA, Museo Estrella Galicia, in A Coruña where a blind tasting took place in front of a professional jury chaired by the food critic José Carlos Capel and composed of the following members: Alejandra Ansón (Expert gastronomic popularizer and co-founder of Ansón & Bonet), chef Pepe Solla (Casa Solla), chef Fernando Agrasar (As Garzas) and chef Iría Espinosa (Arbore da Veira).
Super Frankie Cheese, third best hamburger in Spain
Our signature burger is the Frankie Cheese Bacon and based on its recipe we have created the Super Frankie Cheese, all the goodness of the Frankie Cheese Bacon for two: 250 grams of meat, double cheddar, double bacon and our Frankie sauce.
Obviously in any hamburger the protagonist is the meat, be it beef or chicken... The meat is the epicenter of this bite. That's why the Super Frankie Cheese, like all our burgers, is made with the best cuts of purebred beef, hand-chopped daily. The meat is accompanied by natural smoked bacon and a high quality national cheddar cheese. In short, twice as simple and twice as tasty!
