When is International Hamburger Day?<\/h2>\n

I'm sure you have this day marked in red on your calendar: Yes, International Hamburger Day is celebrated on May 28th.<\/strong>an opportunity to honor one of the most iconic foods in world gastronomy.<\/p>\n

And it is not surprising that the hamburger has its own day because there is no one who can resist enjoying a good burger whenever the body asks for it: the hamburger is a product that has become popular around the world and has won a place in the hearts of many people for its taste, ease of preparation and versatility.<\/p>\n

Why is Hamburger Day celebrated?<\/h2>\n

<\/p>\n

Today, the hamburger has become an \"indestructible\" and \"eternal\" landmark, an icon of our times that is as appetizing as it is controversial with the term \"hamburger\". healthy <\/em><\/strong>(although you already know that at Frankie Burgers we intend to disprove the most deeply rooted beliefs in the collective mind about our star product and we tell you that hamburgers can also be healthy<\/a>). All thanks to various promoters - hamburger restaurants, restaurants or chains - that made the hamburger evolve into a universal food of the 21st century.<\/p>\n

There are several things we could list to defend the hamburger as an indispensable dish, but where did the success of this dish come from? Who do we have to thank for this fact?<\/p>\n

The word \"hamburger\" comes from the English \"hamburger<\/em>\"in reference to the German city of Hamburg. Origins of the hamburger<\/h2>\n

The origin of the hamburger, as well as its progress to the present day, reveals how it has permeated the culinary customs of different countries. Each hamburger was created to be crowned as the first choice and favorite among many, but you might be surprised to learn how it all began.<\/p>\n

The first culinary sketch was in the year 1900, when Louis Lassen<\/em><\/strong> - a German immigrant living in the United States - prepared for the first time a sandwich consisting of bread, lettuce, tomato and cheese. This invention was in response to an urgent request from a customer who asked him for something \"fast and delicious<\/em>\". Here, Louis came close, but he lacked the most important ingredient, you know what it is?<\/p>\n

Shortly thereafter, in Mexico, after the 1930s, several restaurants began to include in their menus the first hamburgers known to date. However, it was not until 1949 when it began to be institutionalized.<\/p>\n

From here, you can imagine the number of restaurants, taverns or bars that offer in our menus this mythical dish, so loved by everyone for its attractive appearance - round and colorful - and that also stands out for its versatility and its ability to reach all audiences, from young to young and old.<\/p>\n

In the last decade, the major chefs<\/em> with Michelin Star have responded to the trend with very unique proposals, some even forming part of exclusive tasting menus. In fact, in 2017 the chef <\/em>Dutch Diego Buik<\/em><\/strong> created the most expensive hamburger in the world<\/strong> valued at 2.300\u20ac and elaborated with beef<\/strong> Japanese Wagyu, Oosterschelde lobster infused with Hermit Dutch Coastal gin, white truffles and Remeker cheese... All these proposals have allowed the hamburger to be considered a gourmet dish as well.<\/p>\n
