The sauce, the glue that binds our ingredients together
Obviously, the heavyweight of our burger and main ingredient, without which the burger would not be what it is, is the meat, but how do we assemble our burger with extra ingredients without making it look like the Tower of Pisa?
At Frankie, we started building from the ground up. brioche bread with the right amount of butter, which provides a sweet taste in its right measure and, on top of this, the meat of 125, 180 or 250 grams, crowned with a cheddar cheese melted at its point.
When it comes to melting the cheese, we place it directly on the burger on the grill a little before it reaches its point, allowing it to acquire a certain aroma and a smoky flavor.
And finally, the deployment of the extras that can be added to any hamburger to increase its size and contrast: bacon, onion, lettuce, tomato, pickles, among others. All these extras provide a crunchy texture and a contrast of flavors that give richness to our hamburger as a closure.
